Teal Arkansas is the public-facing initiative of the Tina Head Ovarian Cancer Foundation, created to honor Tina’s legacy while building a stronger statewide network of awareness, education, support, and action.
Teal Arkansas is the statewide public-facing initiative of the Tina Head Ovarian Cancer Foundation. Our goal is to create a recognizable home for ovarian cancer awareness, education, support, resources, events, and community action across Arkansas.
Helping more Arkansans recognize ovarian cancer, its signs and symptoms, and the importance of early conversations.
Connecting patients, survivors, caregivers, and families with encouragement, programs, and helpful resources.
Bringing communities, volunteers, healthcare partners, businesses, and supporters together to make a difference across Arkansas.
Teal Arkansas is being built as a statewide home for programs, resources, events, and partnerships that can make a meaningful difference for Arkansans affected by ovarian cancer. Here are some of the initiatives we’re developing.
Thoughtfully curated care bags designed to provide comfort, practical support, and encouragement to women beginning chemotherapy.
Trusted information and resources to help patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals better understand ovarian cancer.
A developing statewide awareness initiative designed to bring communities, businesses, healthcare organizations, and individuals together during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
Our flagship 5K event brings the community together to raise awareness, support the mission, and honor those affected by ovarian cancer.
Building a statewide network of volunteers who can support programs, events, outreach, and ovarian cancer awareness in their communities.
Working with hospitals, clinics, businesses, and community organizations to expand education, patient support, outreach, and statewide impact.
One of the first programs we hope to develop through Teal Arkansas is a thoughtfully curated chemotherapy care bag for women beginning treatment. Each bag would be designed to offer comfort, practical support, encouragement, and a reminder that no one should face the journey alone.

Final care bag contents may vary based on available funding, donated items, product availability, and the needs identified as the program develops. Additional support will allow us to provide more robust care bags and reach more women beginning treatment.
We’re developing a statewide awareness initiative designed to bring communities, businesses, healthcare organizations, landmarks, and individuals together during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Our vision is simple: make teal visible across Arkansas and help more people understand the signs, symptoms, and impact of ovarian cancer.
Help Turn Arkansas Teal
The Little Rock Teal Trot is one of the Tina Head Ovarian Cancer Foundation’s signature community events, bringing runners, walkers, survivors, families, and supporters together to raise awareness and support the fight against ovarian cancer.
As Teal Arkansas grows, we hope the Teal Trot can grow with it. Our vision is to explore opportunities for similar events in communities across Arkansas, creating more ways for people to raise awareness, honor those affected by ovarian cancer, and support the mission closer to home.
We would love to connect with volunteers, community leaders, healthcare partners, and supporters interested in helping us explore future Teal Trot events in other parts of Arkansas.
Teal Arkansas will grow through the people and communities who believe in its mission. Whether you volunteer your time, support our programs, or help us build partnerships across the state, there is a place for you to make a difference.
